I hope that core sample will be on display in the museum
Not often we get to really see our history! This morning, we’re taking out an area where the Bricks are talking to us through bumps at exit of @IMS T2. It will help us understand better how to keep the track’s surface smooth going forward. 116 years ago they were going in!

With the penalties that were announced a few hours ago, McLaughlin is no longer the 6th driver to finish last in the #Indy500 after being the fastest qualifier, but he remains the 4th driver to be the fastest qualifier w/o completing a single lap in the race.

How did they know what a stealth jet would look like in 1948
While the cars in tomorrow's #Indy500 qualifications should go roughly 230 mph, give or take a couple of mph, I'm a little disappointed that we won't see the 400 mph cars that we were supposed to get 25 to 50 years ago, according to this article in the 5/22/48 @IndyStar.

How about the fact nobody wants to see a race at Thermal. Not even the people that live there. Get back to the base race fans and make it affordable to attend and they will come. The gimmick race don't work for NASCAR either
