On the heels of our incredible event in the Swiss Alps last June, @paulca, @EamonLeonard, and I have formed a non-profit to sustainably support This Next Thing. I’m delighted to join as its inaugural Executive Director!.

I am so incredibly proud of Evan. He brings integrity, empathy, vision, and humor to everything he does, including his work and career, and I can’t wait to see what this young whippersnapper does next! 😉😂.

Something new we're trying this year is one-night-only, intimate events in 3 cities (Berlin, Dublin, & San Francisco). Each one is a multi-course dinner in a hand-picked venue, threaded throughout with storytelling and the This Next Thing spirit.

Hello! Somehow it's March already -- time to start thinking about exciting summer plans! In our little This Next Thing planning clubhouse, we've been quietly refining details for TNT 2024, and it's finally time to share it with the world.

Between @EamonLeonard’s perfect encapsulation and all of the amazing pictures in his 🧵, even I got swept away in thinking “Aw, I wanna go!!” before remembering that, of course, I will obviously be there. 😆. Come join us — it’s going to be phenomenal!.

I’m also so excited to announce that we will be coming back in 2024! . While we’re retaining many of the magical elements of this past year — gathering creative minds in the Swiss Alps in June — we’re also already cooking up several enhancements and surprises too.

So I’ve been enjoying freelance life for a full year now: working only with people I heartily enjoy, on projects I find enormously exciting. Which is why I’m so psyched to tell you about what has finally tempted me to commit to a more lasting thing:.

Whoa. My 11yo asked a question abt race in America. I gave her a mostly age-appropriate (but def not sanitized) lecture on racism, language, & power in the US. She really listened, asked A+ questions, & told me it was an amazing discussion. Parenting has been SUCH a gift lately.
