I'm kinda sick of seeing emojis and text which shows that it was written by AI. Does it bug you? (It is interesting as I did a master thesis on AI in teaching.)

Is pronouncing words from other languages like they sound in those languages pretentious? I came across this on Instagram & it got me thinking. Thoughts? #langtwt

So much of my time & energy as a language coach, goes into challenging existing learning & teaching patterns due to our screwed up education systems. Be patient. You ARE improving. Focus on learning, NOT marks ASK QUESTIONS, don't just sit there nodding your head. #langtwt

The biggest red flag for a language coach/ language course you’ve seen till now? For me it’s “learn for 5 minutes everyday and reach native level fluency in 6 months” #langtwt

Build a business by choosing the hard path. It takes more work, but the end destination is much less crowded.

I have taught 🇫🇷A1 + A2 to students in 3ish months when I worked at an Alliance Française. Did it work? Yes. Were they on a time crunch? Yes. Could they "use" French? Oh yes! Was it intense? Hell yes! 5 hours/day 25 hours/week 100hours/month 300+ hours by the end #langtwt

Dear Gen Z, Go to your room with a book and don’t come out until you know periods are punctuation, not an act of war.

You can learn a language without spending a dime. You don't have spend loads of money on language tutors. I'm a language coach myself & I'm saying this. It comes down to: - your mindset (patience+others) - your way of learning - finding resources suited to your level #langtwt

The more languages your language teacher knows, the more comparisons they can make, to connect with students of various backgrounds. From personal experience, even some basic comprehension of the NL of the student (which you don't speak) makes wonders. Thoughts? #langtwt

Important reminder! Keep going ✨
We’ve picked an ambitious thing by trying to learn a new language from scratch. It’s challenging. It’s supposed to be. Don’t get discouraged. #langtwt

Hey y'all, It's been a while #langtwt I haven't been actively learning any languages due to building my own language school online which you can check out :) Takes a lot of time but I'm LOVING IT😆 (McD don't come for me okay?) How is your language learning journey going?
