[meeting a schizophrenic guy who lives in a forest lean-to] wow it’s great to see somebody taking hiking seriously.
if you talk to any serious hiker they’re like yes demons are real, make sure you don’t walk along a stream for too long, sometimes a witch trails me for miles, avoid wearing bright colors, and pray being entering the forest. the ancient is still very much alive along the edges.

it is pretty funny that the entire concept of romance got foisted onto, like, comedy frog aliens who can't speak english, and then onto comedy squid aliens and jack black and lizzo. very child's-eye-view of love as basically absurd and inscrutable.
Mando and the village lady from S1E4 definitely had a thing for each other, right? Like, it’s not even a question. Too bad the Mandoverse (much as I love it) seems incredibly romance averse.

I know it's fundamentally evil or whatever but when you're on a big highway at night with a little group of other people going pretty much the same speed there's a feeling like you're in a pod of whales and it rules and there's no other way to get it.
