Another sad farewell. RIP Dr Geoff Durbin. You paved the path for Neonatal specialist care in the West Midlands. You were ‘larger than life’, as described by many. A legend. An end of an era with Geoff and Mike gone.

Said the final farewell to Dr Mike Watkinson today. A legend. Kind, compassionate and a man with integrity. Guided the path for so many of us, helping us realise our potential. Rest in Peace.

Very pleased to see this article published in @BAPM_Official @InfantJournal. We outline, for maternity and neonatal care, what "compassion" means in all its tricky splendour, why it's so important & why it can feel so tough @NeoLeaPEngland https://t.co/7m34S3mtE0. @REButterworth

Had a lovely time this morning planting and pottering. This will be a calm and colourful sanctuary for neonatal staff to take a break on a sunny day 🌻🌺🌷🌿
