Just cause the olympic committee says "sport is neutral" does not make it so. Sports, along with all media express values and beliefs and therefore are political. They are platforms with huge audiences and as such should absolutely be sites where players protest injustice.
The Olympic Committee is banning protests at the 2020 Olympics.
It says "political, religious or racial propaganda" like armbands, kneeling or raising a fist will not be allowed at games or medal ceremonies because "sport is neutral."

This is very real. YouTube's algorithms are built to keep viewers on the site so it starts feeding them more and more extreme material. And the more one engages with it the more reasonable it seems, even as the messages become increasingly absurd (and immensely harmful).
Second time in two weeks I’ve talked to a dad whose teenage son is being radicalized by content recommended to him by YouTube. Regular folks have no idea this stuff is out there, being force fed to kids, and no tools to help reduce or prevent the harm.
