For Greg Wrubell’s money, the environments at which he is employed are best, yes The Salt Lake Tribune offices are the best offices for my money

A year ago, Cam Rising sustained what would be a career-ending hand injury. In the ensuing months, Rising would quietly exit from SLC — no longer able to throw or grip a football But, “life doesn’t stop,” he said. Here’s what is next for the QB: https://t.co/PwV1HgZ933

Cam Rising can’t throw like a star quarterback anymore — but he’s smiling on the sidelines of a football field again. How did the former Utes QB find his next chapter?

I was curious: - Do running QBs like Devon Dampier get injured more often than pocket QBs? - Do RB/WRs get hurt more than DBs? In other words, is Smith Snowden more likely to get hurt in his new role? So I looked at the data. See next tweet for article.

Sure, we'll do the Cougars too. Where AP voters ranked BYU by the timezone of the outlet they represent: Pacific: 0% voted for BYU in top 25. Mountain: 16% voted for BYU, avg 23rd. Central: 15% voted for BYU, avg 14th. Eastern: 28% voted for BYU, avg 18th.

BYU should be ranked and Utah should be ranked above No. 25, IMO.

Honestly, if you swapped their brains, THT's length would probably allow him to be the defender NAW is... but brains are important in basketball and in humans generally, it turns out. THT wanted to get buckets above all. NAW hit failure as a scorer, but then adapted.

One of the things I've been wrongest on in my NBA life is THT vs. NAW... I thought it was close, but would have picked THT due to youth, athleticism, and rim finishing. I both overrated THT and underrated NAW. Especially what NAW would become defensively.
EuroLeague champions Fenerbahce Istanbul are finalizing a deal with six-year NBA guard Talen Horton-Tucker, per @urbodo 🇹🇷 More about it: https://t.co/BWjCSiKGeY

Honestly promising starts from all of the local teams today, that'll be fun

I guess if you're going to have a question mark on Utah offense, it's the lack of deep threat... but 20-play drives to just put away the game work even better

Utah averaged 23.6 points per game last year so 23 points in one half feels revolutionary

Devon Dampier on pace for 24 rushing attempts tonight which, IDK, I don't feel great about him staying healthy all season long if that continues

So much we learned in that drive I thought - Smith Snowden is involved involved. May honestly even be #1 receiver - Wayshawn Parker starting RB but Rogers had significant snaps & 2 carries - O-Line looks excellent

BYU looks great but also I wonder if part of them wishes they would have scheduled someone more difficult for this game because Portland State might be the worst team I have ever seen... eh but then it's not like Stanford will be challenging, either

The kicker just kicked it into the face of the lineman and then knocked his own player away from recovering the fumble, very funny stuff
