I’ll keep saying my view: punishing students for having and expressing views disfavored by the current presidential administration is an inexcusable betrayal of academic freedom and free speech. It chills speech and teaches students the exact wrong lessons about public discourse.

I hadn't previously seen this memo from LA ICE that explicitly labels observing and recording ICE as "threats" to law enforcement.
