Inset AI is now LIVE! πŸ”₯ LET'S GOOOO! πŸ‘‰ Summon an AI co-pilot that understands your context in any app or website! I've been working on this project for the past 3 months, with about half that time spent on arguing with Apple support to let me launch itπŸ˜… Initially this

1 small tip if you want to get ranked on ChatGPT: > Write articles like "[your product] as an alternative to [your competitor]" LLMs seem to pick these article real good! And finally suggest my product to people :) On my way to write such article for every competitor

What number should I display on my landing page? > 1521 total registered TRIAL users, OR > 66 users who PAY for my product? Both are true numbers, but I can see how displaying a lower number may position my product as less reputable to people?

Here's a real MRR screenshot of building a SaaS for > 4 years You only see people who make it because algo rewards success, not struggle I guess it's more inspiring for most people to follow a guy making $$$, than a peer who's on the same lvl as you

There's so many fake MRR screenshots on here, but you can't really prove it, except that generally it takes people years to even make a successful project and then many more years to build up substantial revenue It took me years to get to $10K/mo revenue! Seeing people join X,

Now that I'm making my app a BYOK app - are people familiar enough with OpenRouter so that I could ask an API key for it? Or should I ask users to enter separate keys for OpenAI / Anthropic / whatever other AI provider they want directly?

Decided to pivot my AI helper app from subscription based SaaS to one time payments I think people are tired of subscriptions, and it's much, much harder to sell B2C subscriptions now And less worry about people using my service too much - they'll bring their own API keys and

don't delay starting your startup even if you don't have any experience - just start building right now and learning as you do it you are literally losing nothing but giving it a try

CMV: Safari is THE new Internet Explorer It's crazy how some people actually prefer Safari to other browsers Especially on macOS, where you get freedom in browsers (guess what on iOS Apple does not allow custom browser engines) Developer Experience in Safari is a joke JS /

Also 2 things really help me growing this thing 1. Building in public. It really helped me to kick off the growth and even get some sales. Also it's fun sharing your wins and loses 2. Posting on Reddit. Especially on some niche communities about your product domain

A small WIN - after 4 years of building my open source startup finally hit 700 stars on Github 😊 Growing OSS is pretty much like growing MRR - you have to pull a lot of weight and do a lot of marketing But building a community like that around your product is 100% worth it

Oh no please don't expose my relaxed DMARC configuration, not to Reddit πŸ™€ Do people actually pay these beggars? Like someone's got to pay them, otherwise no one would spam this And sadly the real vulnerability reports are not taken seriously because of these people

how can I make my web analytics startup onboarding better? πŸ€” right now it's: > sign up > confirm email > add a website > set up tracking > verify that it's working how can I improve it and get people to the aha moment?

So everyone who says that followers on X don't help growing startups is pretty much lying You don't NEED a following to grow your startup But if you have some, it surely will help you a lot to do it

Insane! πŸ”₯ @replymer has finally crossed $1,000 MRR in just 3 days! I still don't fully understand why this happened so quickly. None of my previous products have even come close to achieving this kind of result. I haven't even started promoting the product yet, I just tweeted
