@kiaran_ritchie We have two simulation models. One that does exactly what you tell it, repeatable. And another that can do anything with infinite variation and creativity but unpredictably. The magic will happen when the two are brought together.

Genie 3 feels like a watershed moment for world models 🌐: we can now generate multi-minute, real-time interactive simulations of any imaginable world. This could be the key missing piece for embodied AGI… and it can also create beautiful beaches with my dog, playable real time

Interesting chart. Tech hirings are UP despite everyone predicting the opposite would happen.
But, plot twist:. The much-discussed contraction in entry-level tech hiring appears to have *reversed* in recent months. In fact, relative to the pre-generative AI era, recent grads have secured coding jobs at the same rate as they’ve found any job, if not slightly higher.
