POST - Is child poverty at a record high?. - it is according to one measure published this week.- but two other benchmarks show it is 'only' back to pre-pandemic levels.- we should watch all these measures.- & the way we survey poverty also needs updating.

Massive congratulations to @Joe_Dromey on his appointment to succeed me as @thefabians general secretary. Joe is a.fantastic policy thinker and I know he will lead the society from strength to strength.
Some news! Couldn’t be more excited to be joining @thefabians as General Secretary in January. The Fabians have been an engine of ideas on the left for 140 years. I can’t wait to join the outstanding team and help shape the decade of national renewal 🙌.
