A recent @EchelonInsights poll suggests 55% of Americans support US military aid to Ukraine (+24; +12 GOP). That margin INCREASES to 62% (+37; +46 GOP!) when asked if they support **President Trump's** decision to send weapons to Ukraine. Impressively durable bipartisan support.

50 days is far too long to get Russian compliance on this, much longer than Trump's standard "two weeks" nonsense promising tougher moves against Moscow. But if he's (finally) serious, this plus more weapons to Ukraine is a big net positive for the US and for Ukraine.

This is essentially a more workable version of the main clause of the Graham-Blumenthal bill that would put 500% secondary tariffs on countries buying Russian oil. 500% probably unrealistic, 100% though, would make countries think about trade w/ Russia.

Important to note that Trump specified *secondary* tariffs of 100% on Russia. Primary (regular) tariffs wouldn't do much bc US trade w/ Russia is minimal. But *secondary* tariffs would 2X the price of exports to the US on countries trading (perhaps just oil) with Russia.
Trump's "big announcement" on Ukraine is that he's going to put 100 percent tariffs on Russia if there isn't a Russia-Ukraine deal soon

Pretty expansive interpretation of “e pluribus unum,” particularly when the issue is a road traversing 2 separate, sovereign countries. Not sure either Armenia or Azerbaijan would agree w/ that interpretation or this analysis. That said, an interesting proposal for many reasons.
