I’m better at drizzle than @DrizzleORM. Gonna try prisma questions next
@andrew_barba @DrizzleORM damn, didn't see this reply and just realized this myself. you are exactly right. would be amazing if drizzle returned a tuple if the number of inserts is statically known. i'm sure there is some TS wizardry do be done here

There's no way anyone is creating aurora blue/green deployments without an admin role. Im 12 PRs deep with opus trying to grant the fewest number of permissions and there's no less than 84 of them

I first met @GmNaroditsky Daniel Naroditsky, “Danya,” in 2008 on a cruise ship, of all places. He was the reigning World Under-12 Chess Champion and was on the front page of Chess Life. My mom, who can’t tell a knight from a bishop, pulled me aside after randomly passing the

As an edm house music guy I unfortunately have to report that iOS 26 AutoMix is just not good. Love the effort though

What I can’t get over in this blog is author questions whether provider is responsible for tuning config based on instance size. Uhh yes. Customers select config. It’s full responsibility of provider to give the customer a setup suited for what they selected. That’s the whole
We wanted to see how our Postgres service ranks among the others on the @PlanetScale benchmarks. The blog post (link in 🧵) reviews in detail the benchmarking methodology, relevancy, fairness, and openness.

@andrew_barba This was a great talk and nice to see Pulumi used in such a novel way with Swift. I need to send this to some of my Ruby-loving friends who keep asking me when Pulumi is going to support their favourite language

This is how I feel about mongo. Mongo is fine. Atlas is great. For example Atlas has had NVMe “metal” for like 6 years. It’s incredible and gotten me out of many jams at barstool.
MySQL is fine--it's Planetscale that's great. All traditional databases are boring and interchangeable. But they're still brutally difficult to operate well and scale. Just pick the best service, don’t worry about the flavor. You’ll end up wrapping it in an ORM anyway.

It's a crazy feeling when someone uses your work to build something that you never thought about. Amazing blog from @_ryantoken on deploying Swift to AWS with my open source framework @SwiftCloudApp
New blog post! I built an event-driven serverless back end entirely in @SwiftLang that remotely flashes the Philips Hue bulbs in my house whenever Tulsa or the Eagles score or win Loved getting back into some technical writing. Check it out here:
