Cheers to this perspective. I am an over-worrier but an under-drinker. Also appreciate that moderation with alcohol isn't possible for everyone but for those of us who do like to drink occasionally, this is a good counterpoint the recent guidelines
I’ve been spending a lot of time thinking and talking about the CCSA low alcohol guidelines. It’s frustrating because you hear the neo-temperance perspective with little consideration that this is ideological and damaging. So a thread to get it out of my brain.

This is a really bonkers story from ON, Canada. The conservative provincial government announced new legislation that forces a 4 year contract on 55k+ union education workers. It includes this truly incredible phrase
We will not allow our rights to be legislated away. They may have a majority in the legislature. We have a majority across the province. We will take a stand and do everything we can to defend workers' rights and to defend public education.
