This is an amazing thing. @amoonlitcafe want you to read their books for merely the cost of postage. If you aren't aware of them, make yourself aware now! Artists have all been paid. So this is just insanely kind.

I also need to wrangle with the fact that social media is changing, and internet selling is hard. Notably I'm not on that other channel yet, and honestly, I find this bit difficult. My goal is to get writing to people, not get good at SEO.

It's been wonderful, and challenging, and liberating, and scary. A Moonlit Cafe isn't stopping by any means, but I am taking a pause to work out what's next. My major next plans are: 🌻 An A6 microchap round focusing on essays/CNF 🌻 An A5 round of bound books

Things are not ok. There's not a lot we can do as a random small press in Canada, but at the very least, gatekeeping books is not something we want to continue. I've decided now until forever, all our digital chapbooks are $0/pay-what-you-can. Sending love & lit <3
