Wonderful to see people all over the world joining #EgyptCentreAt50 this afternoon - so far I've spotted Warsaw, Alexandria, Athens as well as places right across the UK. Really looking forward to the next 3 days' talks and tours.

We're looking for some beta testers for a new advanced editor in FromThePage that supports TEI tagging, tab completion, and more (funded by @KyHistSoc, @NHPRC, @FolgerResearch, @WellcomeLibrary ). If you do a lot of markup in FromThePage, we'd like you to try it out. DM/email.

Does anyone know what the inscription/transliteration of this slip in the @WellcomeLibrary might be? Not any Egyptian I've ever come across, particularly for an object supposedly dating to the Old Kingdom!

Does anyone else have recurrent problems trying to use eduroam @britishlibrary ? Particularly on Apple devices. I can apparently connect ok but then get server verification errors/no internet messages when trying to access apps/browse the web.
