The reason Is started on this side project: I’ve been tinkering with robots for about 4 years now, and always hit road blocks with off the shelf components:. 1. Cost - too expensive.2. Power too low - issue of stepper motors, and DC motors.3. Efficiency too low - issue of.
Alright robot builders! after reviewing pricing, this is what I’ve come up with:. 1. Single units $45 each.2. 5+ $40 each.3. 10+ $35 each. Test units coming in next month. Hunch is they should be working for the most part because this is our 3rd iteration. Will post testing as.

Alright guys the new V3 BLDC controller is finally being sent for manufacturing today. 1. Retains all features mentioned in past posts. 2. Now contains additional inputs for motor hall sensors or an additional magnetic sensor for actuator output encoding. 3. For 3 phase BLDCs, 2x

It’s coming together!. Sneak peek at the board. We should be able to send this baby for manufacturing today. It can control a BLDC with FOC for robotics projects. Or 2 DC motors for mobile systems. Or 2 phase stepper motors. All with current sensing!
