if Jeff Bezos gave each of his 876,000 employees a $105,000 bonus, he'd be left with as much money as he had at the beginning of the pandemic

Update (08/18/20): We've received new alertssince our last update, but according to our earlier Facebook poll, many suspect Amazon has been under-reporting. Again, some notifications refer to multiple individuals but do not specify how many. We are counting those as at least 2.

Business is booming. Quotas are growing. So why is Amazon putting more than 1,200 drivers out of jobs? #AmazonHeroes

Amazon delivery partners in states across the country are closing facilities and laying off employees, even as its delivery program continues to grow.

If companies truly had workers' interests at heart, a bill so workers can't be reprimanded for needing to GO TO THE BATHROOM wouldn't have to exist. But they don't, so we thank @LorenaAD80 and @Ash_Kalra for #AB3056 and their dedication to fighting for better working conditions!

Jeff Bezos added $13 billion to his fortune in a single day, yet Amazon cut $2/hour “hero pay” for its 400,000 warehouse workers and won’t give them paid sick leave. #ProtectAmazonWorkers

If this is truly a wake-up call for Jeff Bezos (it isn't) about unethical (at best) practices at Amazon (of which there are many) and he is truly sorry to hear about them, it's his responsibility to fix them. All of them. Everything. Period, full stop. #BigTechOnBlast

Jeff Bezos knows when one worker is 2 seconds late moving a box. #BigTechOnBlast #techhearing
It's fun to joke around that Bezos doesn't know what's happening inside of Amazon, but playing dumb is a strategy, surely coached by lawyers, to try to lessen the company's well-deserved scrutiny. Bezos knows exactly what his company does, it was his plan all along.

Does anyone believe Richest Man on Earth & owner of a tech giant making 💵💵💵 as a backbone of public surveillance, watching your every shopping habit, and scrutinized for intensely surveilling its workers doesn't have a pulse on what happens at his own company? #BigTechOnBlast

Finally, an Amazon question! "I can't guarantee you that the policy has never been violated." is a really funny way of saying "We probably violated the policy." 🙄 #BigTechOnBlast

The idea that Jeff Bezos might be "having technical difficulties" connecting to this meeting when he owns Amazon Web Services is so absurd and laughable. #BigTechOnBlast
