It's true, your next block might be mined by retards who hate money.

You don't know what the next block is going to look like. Heuristics that require the assumption that you do are broken. Embrace the chaos and accept that nodes are not obligated to relay what a miner might mine.

Ideally leakage of private keys or seeds would be subtle, and over time, and require a lot of transactions. So I'd also encourage "daily spends" to make sure the TX data leaks as much as possible.

- Convince people that using such software was morally important, and get them to move their funds to my wallet. - Wait for amount of coins using it to increase. - Rugpull everyone.

If I wanted to steal someone's Bitcoin, I'd do the following:. - Infiltrate development of that wallet software without a lot of contributors and become a trusted contributed. - Slowly introduce changes that can be exploited when combined, but each change hard to detect. .

"Bitcoin Core unilaterally deciding on updates is more of an attack than any "spam".". Yup. Core's behaviour here is the driver behind taking away core's ability to behave in this manner. Core 30 will likely be the least and slowest adopted version ever, and quite (remotely).
