My five year old is downstairs teaching his 2 year old sister some casual 7am phonics. Using his favourite thing to help illustrate where he could… “i, i, i, for Iveco” “m, m, m MAN or m, m, m Mercedes” “v, v, v Volvo” Lorries and learning 🤣

Little makes me as angry or makes my skin burn as much as my son’s primary school class WhatsApp group 😵‍💫🤯

Things like this are one of my favourite things about being a mum. Finding perfect examples of your kids personalities in the little moments. Child number 2 has been near my washing basket. Love it. 😻

People can be different… but my husband, the father of my children… doesn’t like Chinese takeaway… that’s on me, and lacking proper due diligence with that one… but he also did not just get a Harry Potter reference. Oh my.… 👀🫠🫣😵‍💫

Do you know what you don’t hear about? New Neighbour Anxiety! Our lovely next door neighbours are selling up and the worry of being in a terrace, and hoping the new people will be ok… urgh it’s a lot!

Do you know what’s amazing? Being someone’s mum. Daughter has a fever, already fully dosed up, shaking and shivering in bed. I get in with her and within minutes she’s calmer and more regulated just because she’s close to me. Being a human is very powerful.

School attendance is bonkers. My son is obviously too ill to go to school, chesty occasional cough, but barely there voice. But already (AT 5!!!) Saying he should probably try to go 😢🤯🫨 we really all need to give our heads a wobble #teaching #schools #attendance #95%
