Two of the best from last night at @atynudes. Continuing to explore watercolour with the new kit in the fast poses in first half, and working with a 0.7 precision pencil in 2B for the second half. Lovely poses, full of thoughtful details.

Just visited the Bruegel to Rubens exhibition at @AshmoleanMuseum and spent a little time drawing the plaster cast of the Belvedere Torso. Great to see so many different ways of using drawing, including sharing with friends.

Flemish artists of the 16th and 17th centuries embraced the challenge of drawing animals from life. This is a particularly energetic example by Joannes Fijt, one of Antwerp’s most talented animal painters, currently on display in Bruegel to Rubens: Great Flemish Drawings. Dogs

Great last pose before the break at @ATYNudes tonight. Love drawing foreshortening. I was finding shadows interesting this evening too.

Totally agree. I have been DELIBERATELY DEFIANT, in spite of some random bloke’s advice. A full investigation MUST be mounted. #ArrestMe Also, visit Scotland, land of the free!
