Then vs. now. Every time an employee asked a question or said they didn’t know something, I used to say “Did you search for it in our wiki? Or did you Google it?” — depending of if the question was internal or external. Now my answer is: did you talk to ChatGPT about it?.

The notion that all data centers need firm power is over stated for large operators. Large data center operators have multiple data centers across a the country in multiple electricity markets. They can shift workloads to another region in response to power demand.
Haven't seen this one before: Server utilization rate by data center type. AI Training ~80%+, Hyperscale closer to ~50% and the rest <40%.

When you deploy renewables, you get the electricity output year over year with no more inputs — no need to go mine for the resource every year. It just shows up like magic ☀️.
