I expect ref 1785 to pass within a few hours - not days. Staking rewards will return to their intended level and a post-mortem disclosure will be published. Retroactive payouts could be proposed to OpenGov for the amounts missed, but should include all accounts, not just some.
The bug that reduced Polkadot inflation during migrations will be fixed in about 7 days with runtime update 2.0.2. Staking rewards will pump and $DOT will _____?

I’m already excited to be flying to Buenos Aires this week. Meeting the Polkadot gang and everyone else who has found their way there for Devconnect. Will finish my Sub0 presentation on OpenGov tomorrow, release the Treasury report on Tuesday and then fly on Wednesday. ✈️

lots of people today saying ah yeah web2 cloud sucks use web3 cloud. ok fine. but let's be honest, there is currently no web3 "cloud" in the sense there is a web2 cloud. why? to put it simply, blockchain storage is expensive and onchain runtimes work differently than "normal"

I’d pick my “weird” transgender sister that defends my right to privacy and freedom and risks going to jail any day over a the bland guy that plays it save with his podcast and has understood nothing. Web3 will set you free!
People will watch this Zcash video, see the massive jail sentences for zk-protocol founders, see the price go up 20x in the past months and still think “let’s buy some $ZEC ”. What could possibly go wrong, right?
