Though that first peck was the first gay kiss everyone knew about and teenage me heard about. But only through the torrent of evil bigotry. All part of the vile homophobia all around me ready for my first coming out crisis – to myself – in 1987 (but that’s another story).

*A small peck on the forehead, to monstrous outrage from evil bigots the same way they still hate all LGBTQ+ – especially T – people today merely for being shown to exist. Colin had to wait 3 years for a chaste kiss on the mouth (a torrent of…) and 36 for an on-screen snog.
