Declaring that we should *not* be teaching about sex and sexuality in schools while simultaneously declaring the Ten Commandments *should* be posted and taught in schools is an odd contradiction.

And to be clear, I'm not saying people in other fields shouldn't be discussing education. I'm saying that a discussion on education ought to include at least one educator who *is* an expert on the topic!

I'm disappointed that @RonSteslow chose to have a @PoliticologyPod episode about public education without talking to an educator. With a host of education researchers, why not talk to one of them? (Props to @lucymcaldwell for acknowledging she's *not* an education expert!)

Listening to a podcast and heard someone with advanced degrees in education say, "I have kind of an intuitive sense of what number sense is, that it means kind of the sense that students have about numbers."

Easter Sunday will be April 5 next year. Will we have #GeneralConference that weekend or will we adjust the Conference schedule so that we can continue with the practice of having a worship service on Easter without any other meetings?
