What I mean is . Smaller teams working on smaller games within shorter timeframes, each focused on a single core gameplay mechanic. Rather than large teams developing complex systems over a decade, requiring £100+ price tags and crazy monetization just to break even.

Honestly, it sucks to say it but I think a lot of game devs could learn from @levelsio . Lots of AAA games today have *awful* gameplay loops in favour of better graphics and 100+ hours of content. Might be great for gaming if things like this and Get To Work keep being successful
