I’ve been researching this since yesterday. I’ve found out that we could both be right. Cuz New York open is at 8 Am and the close is at 5 Am Est. 9:30 is the NYSE open
So you can use either depending on your strategy and what works for you. I use ict concepts

1. The trading platform is match trader and ctrader. They recently switched from mt5 , which has been a bit challenging to get used to but you have go with a positive mindset
2. No required number of trades
3. No minimum lot size or maximum, 2$ commission tho on 1 lot

8:30 Am is when most news come out so I never trade before 8:30 , so most of my entries are around 9 Am to 11 Am. If it gets past 11Am , I’m not taking any trades
