“You may have read or heard in school about the principle of least action. In its popular science form it says that any physical system will look for and find its lowest equilibrium at any given time. “ Say, what?! 😆 Listen at https://t.co/1vLe1B503p

I am never disappointed by what each night holds. This 50-minute exposure of M45 The Pleiades is unbelievable. If you look long enough at night, you can make out this cluster with the naked eye. 🌟🌟🌟 🔭: @Unistellar #astrophotography #astrophoto #thepleiades

The Medulla Nebula (LBN 576) is a faint 10,000 year old supernova remnant located in the constellation Cassiopeia. This is a narrow band image which shows the distribution of Sulfur(reds), Hydrogen(yellows) and Oxygen (blues) within the region. #astronomy #astrophotography

My first attempt at astrophotography, featuring Comet C/2023 A3. Glad I captured it, because I’d have to wait 80,000 years or so to catch it again. Fortunately, my professional astrophotographer neighbor was there for some guidance. What an experience!

A close-up view of comet C/2023 A3 Tsuchinshan-ATLAS last night from North Yorkshire. This is a stack of 18 images at 300mm fl, 2.5s exp, f/5.6, ISO-3200. The anti-tail can just be made out (better in attached post). #Astronomy #Astrophotography #CometA3 #Comet2023A3 #CometATLAS
