By “a certain strain of parent” you mean low income. We know that as well from the data and we need to think beyond shaming parents (mostly mothers) and look toward building a society that takes care of it’s children. Free preschool being the bare fucking minimum.
sorry to rail on this again but i just don’t respect how we know through multiple studies that screen time is BAD for children in multiple ways but a certain strain of parent is like “there’s literally no conceivable alternative and parenting is impossible without it so idgaf”
