New look @LtbShowrooms opening tomorrow at midday. Now includes the (ex-pub) ground floor, which is fab - and also nicely accessible for disability users. Most of our events / activity will now be in here going forward, rather than upstairs (we’ve got the building til 30/11/23).

Watched zodiac mindwarp here in ‘87 - (didn’t like them much but was the only thing on). We blagged the Dj to use our ‘swerve rap’ demo tape as their intro song.. so I’ve a beautiful memory of 1000 bemused leather-clad punters bopping up and down to an Alan Denyer guitar riff ;).
The Selecter full house at The Paradiso in Amsterdam, NL last night. We first played here in 1980, to still be filling it this many years later is a testament to the power of music Great gig promoting our new album HUMAN ALGEBRA. Wonderful audience dancing the night away. Perfect

What martyn says. I also grew up here, and remember all these shops - and the 1000’s of folks walking to work (at the jag factory) every day passing the end of our road - bree close - solid wall of people for 20 mins twice a day. Even if factory still there they’d all drive now.
