🔊Toni Kroos on Fede Valverde during his podcast:
“I remember him being with us for the first time during our 18/19 pre season tour in the USA. Our physio asked me to look a bit after him cause he told me I was his idol. I instantly realised that he was a good guy. Very silent

That’s what I liked about him. He didn’t act like he made it just by travelling with us. He always gave everything in training without fear or anything. I always kept an eye on him in training and also outside of it.
I always liked his style. You could see in his actions that he can grow and become a very special player. In the beginning his playing time was very irregular but he always was kept improving and eventually gained trust from the coaches.
The technique used by Alex just shows how much better he is than the rest in his division. Only throwing body shots and calf kicks, till he gets a clear cut punch and gets Hill knocked down.

He’s so fast also with the ball, his passing is amazing and all in all his idea of playing is very good. His shooting has always been amazing and finally he’s starting to score goals! He can play as a right wing, right back and as a number 8.
My tweet the other day may have been because of his current form because being this decisive in our current Madrid squad is something quite special. Regardless of his current form tho I think he’s a very very good player.
He’s gaining more and more confidence but in a healthy way. He always wants the ball and wants to help the team. He’s shooting more from distance, tries dribbling past defenders more and also tries passes that aren’t easy to complete.
To be honest that’s where I see him playing more and more in the future. With all what’s happening to him now I see him just like how he always was, very humble. I think he’ll be a world class player for Real Madrid for the next 10 years at least.
If he stays fit and humble I
Unnecessary move by Ronaldo but never a straight red. It’s pretty clear that the Al-Hilal player jumps at him. If anything it should be a yellow to Al-Hilals number 6. This clip clearly shows the refs bias towards Al-Hilal. Even though they were better.
6 years ago, and without Cristiano Ronaldo, Real Madrid won the Spanish Super Cup against Barcelona 5-1 on aggregate.
In this match, Zidane led the team to a 2-0 win, while completely preventing Barcelona from touching the ball.
On that day, Piqué, while leaving the field,
