It was stated that the wallet receiving 5 $LIT is linked to Coinbase, which recently added the token to its roadmap, and that the transfer was likely a test transaction. It was also suggested that the wallet address could belong to a market maker.

With Lighter exchange’s $LIT token expected to have its TGE soon, a notable transfer drew attention yesterday. From the $LIT token at contract address 0x232CE3bd40fCd6f80f3d55A522d03f25Df784Ee2, 5 $LIT were sent to the wallet address 0xc35a0b2F8f20F0Af042c41C1ADBd330f602750C8.

if you average out the community expectations floating around: something like a 3–4b launch fdv, ~12–12.5m points and ~30% going to the first airdrop gives a very rough band of ~50–100 usd per point. nothing guaranteed, just what current sentiment is implicitly pricing in.

lit already deployed, wash traders nuked from the points system and a hyperliquid pre-market listing coming up, and it’s hard not to read this as “2025 tge is getting closer”.

on the narrative side, polymarket literally spun up 19 separate markets just to bet on the exact lighter airdrop day. liquidity is still thin, but most odds are clustering toward the last week of december, with some side action on dec 20 / dec 23. add in coinbase roadmap,

perp dex volume cooled off a lot, but the race is somehow getting even more brutal. @Lighter_xyz is sitting around the top with ~4.3b 24h volume, ahead of names like edgex, aster, apex and even hyperliquid. bear-ish environment, but perp wars are clearly not dead.

The holidays will be $lit this year.
