This is still the best investing advice I've ever received: Great investors think like farmers.

Tech is here to stay and the disruption is just getting started. Instead of outright bans, perhaps we can systematically integrate #ChatGPT and other tools into higher education to achieve better learning outcomes. https://t.co/b2RJCLVI3b

This recent trend of posting videos of Indians fighting on flights is hilarious but also kinda sad. These people are likely top 3% of India’s per capita income affording air travel and are ā€˜educated’. It shows we have a long way to go, even culturally.

We had the quarterly review and planning with Our leaders offsite for the first time yesterday. It’s amazing how much the physical environment can affect the energy and mindset of the room!

Experience is frequency and quality of feedback loops and not elapsed years. Many people stay the same for years and many evolve 10x in a single year.

I am by now, completely off-track from Ship 30 for 30, but am amazed with what this has already done for me so far. Writing things down always helped me articulate better. But doing it in this manner, is both humbling and exciting! Hats off to the crew and shipmates!

I learnt balance (a little) Your mission requires more from you than you can give. What helped me was understanding that this was a long game and that consistency will always beat working hard. I suck at balancing life - and just realizing this has been been empowering.

Learning truly began once I changed my lens. Half the year down, I realised learning was all around me. Number of books became a vanity metric and instead, I consumed less, actionable content. I learnt more from my family, co-founders and teams than any form of self-learning.

I embraced change. I used to love working out and competitve gaming. It took me an year to figure out why I sucked at both. As my priorities changed, so did my interests. I now look for balanced ways to get back but don't stress out if I get off-track. I just re-commit.

I learnt to rely on other people. When I accepted my own limitations, I started communicating better. I absolutely suck at asking for help and accepting losses - just acknowledging this turned out to be a hidden superpower. When I placed the mission above myself, I grew.

I learnt to 'suck-it-up' and follow through on commitments With great power, comes great reponsibility - which sucks when you're only just navigating tough times yourself You have to be willing to dig through your own shit, keep learning and taking decisions to move forward.

Extreme chaos taught me humility. Our house caught fire a day before my engagement. We switched 3 locations before a close family-only wedding. Quarantined, I remote-managed teams and co-ran a tight ship as I was even learning to manage. I am thankful to everyone around me.

The greatest adversity in my life was inside my head. Crossing the chasm required having courage to accept my feelings and being vulnerable with everyone around What began as massive drama eventually turned into 'Jaane tu ya jaane na' 2.0, with a flight instead of a horse :p

I turn 28 years old tomorrow after the most eventful 12 months my life. I married my best friend since I was a teen. Virohan bounced back from the the pandemic. We reversed voluntary paycuts, raised funds and have more than doubled our campuses since. A retrospective. šŸ§µā¬‡ļø
