Another day, another TB diagnosis. More patients with TB in the hospital than COVID right now. @WHO estimates the COVID-19 pandemic has set us back 12 years in the fight to eliminate TB & expect a 20% increase in deaths. TB can be difficult to diagnose. Here are some thoughts:

Our new paper @leicskidney from >5000 patients on physical activity in CKD in @NDTsocial 🏃‍♂️🚶‍♂️🚴‍♂️ - CKD patients extremely inactive across all stages - between 6–34% sufficiently active - Some stage-specific correlates may exist - ⬆️self-efficacy and physical fitness may help

We're deeply saddened and concerned to see the deaths of three horses, Forest Des Aigles, Crucial Role and Up for Review, at Aintree this year. The death of any horse is always one too many and it’s crucial steps are urgently taken to reduce the risk of these tragedies.
