BREAKING: 2025 Big South Preseason Pitcher of the Year Colby Guy has committed to Arizona State. Guy made five starts this year at UNC Asheville before a shoulder injury led him to medically redshirt. In 2024, the righty totaled a 4.35 ERA over 70.1 innings pitched in 13 starts

Another premiere non-conference opportunity for ASU, the second time they will visit Arlington under Willie Bloomquist. The Sun Devils will face Virginia Tech for the first time ever and 2024 National Champions Tennessee for the first time since 2014.

Never before have I been so excited to see a pitcher throw one out in a 13-1 Sunday game. Chance was solid for the Gatemen during the 2023 summer and has fought his way back to pitch collegiately once again.

Willie Bloomquist announced last night that third baseman Nu’u Contrades is out for the remainder of the 2025 season after sustaining an injury last weekend at Baylor. Contrades missed virtually all of last season and is draft eligible this summer.

Willie Bloomquist had a message for fans who he says have been making threats against his players through social media. “If you’re gonna threaten my players and my family, come threaten me instead”.
