As people adopt more agents in their coding, my advice to the vibe coders is watch the sizing of your files. These models love to build out excessive files if you're not watching them. You could easily find yourself with a 1300+ chat.ts file. Spend the time to properly learn how

Cursor 2.0 is literally the best AI tool out there and it's not even close. It just one shot a 1300 line API endpoint refactor into proper modules, sessions, streaming, message handlers, all separated. All done while I was on vacation. @cursor_ai You guys CRUSHED IT.

OpenAI just told Washington they need 20% of every available electrician in the country. This is exciting and scary. Exciting because for the first time in decades, blue collar has leverage. The scary part? All the best electricians are running for the hills (retirement). I've
From OpenAI's 'Seizing the AI Opportunity' post, published today. 'Electrons are the new oil, and we believe the Trump Administration should work with the private sector on an ambitious national project to build 100 gigawatts a year of new energy capacity.'

If you are just starting out, download whatever AI tool you enjoy. It doesn't matter if its Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, whatever. The best way to learn is to build. You cannot do this in the physical world. If you fuck up a kitchen remodel you can't just git revert. START

The most enjoyable part about building in software vs commercial/industrial construction, is if I mess something up. I can just git revert. No wasted materials, just a couple dirt cheap api calls. And I get a clean slate. I just miss the guys in the field. It's quiet out here.

What if AI generated code follows the same trend as ai generated art? Maybe the kamikaze coders will be alright.

18 months building with AI and this is still my favorite way to add features as my codebase has grown over time. Works with Claude and ChatGPT projects (preferred Claude for UI but the new limits have me using ChatGPT more and 5 Pro is the goat). Custom instructions: "Staff
