It is literally impossible for teachers to accept any unfunded deal. It would be borderline unethical to allow more money to be stripped from school budgets to pay for their penny pinching
They want us to reject the offer… £1000 non consolidated payment for 2023. 4.5% for 2023 4.3% for experienced teachers 4% non funded, additional funding for the rest.

I’ve voted reject. I’m proud of the stance my union is taking. The government are holding the unions to ransom by saying that they will withdraw the offer unless all 4 unions back it or remain neutral. Shameful. I would urge all NASUWT members to switch now and vote to reject.
All eligible members in England will receive an email and text tonight about a pay offer from Government. We don’t think it’s good enough and are recommending members vote to reject it. Vote here.👉 https://t.co/J9Wka2oF2b

So now we see the value of education. £1000, before tax, and a below inflation increase for next year of 4.5%. Not fully funded. Less than fire service, doctors, railway workers and the offer to teachers in Wales and Scotland. That’s how little they value education.

You know you go out with a primary school teacher when you open the oven door at 8:30pm on a Wednesday night to be greeted with tea-stained paper! #edutwitter

Y12 had a fun start to the market segmentation lesson drawing a stereotypical customer for various businesses. We then applied and evaluated the use of this to Sport England. Fab work guys!
