TBC in case you don't know: I'm a Municipal Clerk. We do not allow political talk because as the local government, our job is to serve all our residents according to the law, regardless of their (or our) feelings about it.

I am generally anti-murder, but the "You can't murder the Evil Despot or you'll become just like him!" trope drives me nuts. Absurd. Ahistorical. The ACTUAL reason not to murder the evil despot is so you can use his show trial to legitimize your new regime.
