A THREAD OF UK BLACK BUSINESSES It’s important that we learn to support black owned businesses all year round. We must start spending more money in our community. Please @ a Black owned business we should be buying from and supporting!

You don’t have to have conversations about systemic racism if you don’t want to. It's okay to say you don't feel comfortable talking about it, especially those who are the only, or one of few, Black people in their team or company. Our DMs are open if you need a place to vent.

To Black techies returning to work today in the current climate of racism and anti blackness here and abroad: look after yourselves. Take breaks when you can and remember that whatever feelings you have are valid.
