By exploiting Machine Learning, pharma steward assists the pharmacist in pattern recognition and risk stratification, therefore improving drug safety, improving efficiency, and even acting as a clinical decision support tool in some cases. .

One of them is the analysis of their regular patients data to predict individual safety risks and concerns in real time, compared to the traditional methods such as disproportionality analysis and case series analysis, which are both time-consuming retrospective studies.

Pharma steward offers a solution to this problem. We enable patients to report adverse drug reactions to their local pharmacies promptly, thereby receiving medical attention early and preventing further injuries. Pharmacies signing up with Pharma Steward have several advantages.

This means that the community pharmacist will be tasked with reporting these adverse reactions to the regulator. However, studies show this method suffers from underreporting and occasional delays owing to the busy nature of such pharmacies.
