Over the weekend I became a maintainer of 🥳🚀 I'm excited to continue working w/ the community to make this amazing ecosystem even better & more secure. 🎉. Along with this we're launching the first phase of our new MFA policy today 🎉🥳!.
To better secure RubyGems, today we're introducing a new policy. - Popular gem maintainers will see prompts to enable multi-factor auth. - Starting Aug 15, MFA will be enforced. This move will help us build a safer community inline with other ecosystems.
