hotd is about the civil war between two factions of house targaryen where all the main characters are dragonriders, but the ratio of the two team’s dragon-related scenes is 5:1. neither aegon nor helaena had a scene with their dragons, daeron was absent— but we had these instead:
giving aegon a scene with sunfyre in season 1 was infinitely more important than giving jace a scene with vermax, nevermind that there was plenty of time for both. i don't think this is debatable at all btw!
