Really fortunate that almost a year since my layoff from VICE, and a year into freelance hosting and producing podcasts, I’ve had the pleasure of making two shows, with @prx and @pineapplemedia respectively. This is the second! It’s brand new!.

I have a ton of ideas for stories, and I'm feeling super creative and that's honestly a really nice place to be in right now.

I don't typically just say that out loud, but I'm going for it so if anyone wants to help me make that happen, hit me up :) . I'll also be working a few other projects here and there until the end of the year—and figuring out what 2025 looks like.

Now my focus turns to. COMICS. I'm about to start semester 2 of the Sequential Arts Workshop Year-long Comics Certificate. I'm doing it for fun, & also because I have always secretly wanted to be a podcast host who also writes features, some of which would get pubbed as comics.

The end of this season marks the end of my 1st year of freelance podcast hosting. I launched 2 seasons of 2 shows this year, including the launch of a brand new show. Feels good!.

The folks @scipsychedelics and @prx, plus the freelance producers who helped make this show happen (like the incredible @adizaheghan) really turned this into an incredible experience. Very happy I got to do this!.

Pick the week! What a nice surprise from @ApplePodcasts. Altered States has been an incredible show to work on and I’m so psyched to be part of this. Definitely check out this week’s episode — a powerful account of psychedelic-related illness.

And when I say “a lot to learn”, I partially mean that the episode should inform a lot of folks about something that isn’t talked about very much — but also that there’s so much we still don’t know about HPPD. Like who’s at risk of developing the condition!.
