Gabby & Ms. Mireles 2006. As a Spec Ed teacher, Eva would go into Gabby’s regular class to provide support. The inclusion I demanded for Gabby was new for UCISD but Eva was a pro. She stayed connected to us up until that awful day. She was an amazing educator. #Robb #uvalde💎💜🕊️

Today, May 17, is the birthday of Aaron Feis. He would be 44 but died in 2017 at Marjory Stoneman Douglas. Selfless, approachable, & friendly, Aaron was known for going above & beyond & putting the needs of others above his own. He was taken from his wife & their young daughter.

I spent half the day in Uvalde and it started out with the Eva Mireles Memorial Run. It was my first time running 3 miles — without a basketball — since my senior year of HS in 2013! It’s always great to be around the wonderful Mireles family💜💎
