something i struggle with when trying to analyze this is that the vast majority of americans are incredibly uninformed. i promise you they have no idea that harris campaigned with cheney and they probably have no idea who cheney is in the first place.

i believe slotkin will be the only non-incumbent dem to win in a state harris lost. she ran a very conservative campaign. not sure what to take from that.

we just saw a campaign succeed while making virulent transphobia a central part of its messaging. if people in your life have any doubt about whether you stand in solidarity with trans people, it’s time to make it clear imo.

4 more years of trump is dangerous for a lot of vulnerable populations but i can't imagine the tangible harm this is going to do trans people man. he ran a campaign at the expense of their very humanity. he and JD are just unrepentantly ghoulish.

dems need to offer a positive economic vision obviously and supporting a fucking genocide absolutely hurt them. but also we have a racism and sexism problem in this country and denying that helps nobody.
