“Can I bring my baby to the interview?” The message came in at 11 PM: “Hi, I have an interview with you tomorrow at 2 PM. My childcare fell through. Can I bring my 8-month-old? I understand if you need to reschedule.” Old me would have rescheduled. Unprofessional. Distraction.

Hi Folks.. The AHS report wasn't pushed out last night, as there was some difficult news making its rounds. Sadly last week, a nurse left her shift at a Northern AB Hospital and took her own life in the staff parking lot. The Healthcare crisis in Alberta is real... Mental health

Danielle Smith is symbolic of the issues of class complexity in Alberta. Canada is the classroom. Most students (Premiers) are working at the same level, requiring the same amount of care and attention. Danielle Smith is the student with complex needs that requires isolation.

Was it "not democracy" when Alberta challenged the carbon tax in the SCC? Was it "not democracy" when Alberta challenged the Impact Assessment Act at the SCC? Or is it simply "not democracy" when it's your legislation being challenged in court? #ableg
Alberta’s premier is firing back at teachers and their lawsuit by saying it’s ‘not democracy’ to have the courts review Bill 2. As Sean Amato reports, the Alberta Teachers’ Association says it’s one of the only rights they have left. #ableg

@TheBreakdownAB There's no conspiracy to overthrow the government using recall. They'll overthrow themselves through their actions. On a side note, how about the UCP call that public inquiry into healthcare corruption? It would be a deflection from the botched recall process they legislated.

Always listen to her words very carefully. She’s going to let Albertans gather signatures and when it’s clear there are enough recalls to threaten her government, she’ll shut them down. Mark my words. But Albertans should not be deterred. Force her to show her true colours.
Alberta's premier is back from overseas... She was asked about recall campaigns and hinted legislation could be coming to stop bad faith petitioners from trying to "topple" her government. #ableg #cdnpoli

Reminder: UCP only passed their ‘Election Statutes Amendment Act’ about *6 months* ago. In addition to messing with municipal elections, it boasted it would “make it easier to recall an MLA” and to improve the “efficiency” of getting a petition signed.

"It was unexpected and puts us in a challenging position." Today Elections Alberta made an "urgent" request for $13.5M to process new recall & referendum petitions. But UCP MLAs instead voted to give them $1.5M, saying more could be coming as those efforts progress. #ableg

@mickeyamery The problem is 14.4% percent of kids aged 14-17 have engaged in “sexting” and the law would obligate you to throw a projected 125,000 of ppl who received the images unsolicited and didn’t delete them in jail for a year, with no discretion for circumstances. Even if you just
