#OnThisDay in 1918 the Germans experienced the “blackest day of the German Army”. The Battle of Amiens launched the Hundred Days Offensive that did not stop until the war was over. #LestWeForget https://t.co/qlLQZYEkjj 📷@AWMemorial

The Adelaide to Glenelg steam train ran its first services 150 years ago this week on the same rail reserve as used by the Glenelg tram today. It was extremely popular and obviously continued to be so from this enhanced @SLSA photo from 1913 by Les Peters.

This is the most beautiful, heartbreaking, difficult read. Words can’t do justice to it, to the horror Katie is clearly going through. I can’t think of anyone better to write it than Tom. This life is bloody hard sometimes, and I applaud you Katie for just being.

Interview with Katie Archibald ahead of the Glasgow cycling worlds. Difficult to put into words how tough the last 18 months have been for her, but she spoke with searing honesty about loss, grief and love

Julia Gillard has not been Tim Mathieson's partner for two years, never married, no children, Ms Gillard was not present when the offence was committed or part of the court proceedings. WHY is she named in EVERY report. Women are NOT responsible for the actions of men! #Auspol

@HansenAdam @LeTourFemmes Maybe it’s an idea to think about “no pass zones”. If the organisers know a climb or road is to narrow to pass safely then that road is marked red on the map and no vehicle can pass. Mark the beginning and end with a sign.

Yesterday I purchased a later distance sensor. I will start to develop a sensor that could be attached to motorbikes in races to govern the distance from them to the riders. Motorbikes influence the races too much. Too many teams and riders complain about this. Wish me luck!
