I published a children’s book about my research! More importantly, I wrote a book that is deeply meaningful to me. I believe no one should grow up thinking negatively about themselves in a world that often asks us to do so. Scars are cool & so is geography

Like many cities in the US, Detroit – the site of #AAG2025 – has seen tremendous change since we last met there in 1985. Given its complex histories, @patriciaehrkamp establishes how we must return to Detroit in solidarity and with care.
