Pleased to share this op-ed I wrote on the research from my MA thesis about the outcomes of climate adaptation projects implemented among small farmers in Sri Lankaโs dry zone. ๐งโ๐พ @ukgeog @universityofky @DOPEUKY @PolEcoNet @CAPE_AAG @AAG_DGSG @theAAG @SEDAAG4 @LandClimate.
Since 2017, a project financed by the Green Climate Fund, has provided seeds and training to grow more commercial produce to farmers in North-Central Sri Lanka. @nethmisachy argues the project has failed to help farmers adapt to climate change.
