Media had some fun poking at @DukeMBB coach Jon Scheyer today. Backstory: as a Cubs fan, he was jokingly distracted a while back at one of his pressers by a White Sox hat. So today, most of us came with hats repping Cardinals, Mets, Red Sox, Orioles, etc. This was his reaction.😂

Make that 62 unanswered points. Going back to taking a 20-10 lead on Vandy with a FG right before halftime, the Hokies have gone four full quarters without a single point. That's 34-0 after halftime against Vandy, now down 28-0 at half to ODU. At home.

Lot of talk coming into the year about Virginia Tech trying to improve on its 0-5 record in 1-possession games in 2024. Giving up 55 unanswered points at home against Vanderbilt and ODU on consecutive weeks sure helps you avoid that issue, I guess... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
