Media had some fun poking at @DukeMBB coach Jon Scheyer today. Backstory: as a Cubs fan, he was jokingly distracted a while back at one of his pressers by a White Sox hat. So today, most of us came with hats repping Cardinals, Mets, Red Sox, Orioles, etc. This was his reaction.š

Re: Item 2. Unsure why people keep saying UNC did "nothing." The schools got K, RoyW, Scheyer & Hubert together for group pic -- which was put on videoboards with pregame PA acknowledgement to the notable transitions. I thought it was cool to see pic of them together, actually.
Former Duke player told me there were 3 things that didnāt sit right w/them:. 1. Hubert Davis didnāt shake assistantsā hands before game. 2. UNC did nothing to honor Kās retirement. 3. HD didnāt intervene when UNC fans chanted āF*ck Coach Kā. All likely led to handshake snub.

The fans-masquerading-as-reporters thing is an issue. Way too many people "covering" a team while tweeting about being nervous about a game result, posting "I'm one of you" vibes to fans, seemingly preferring just to be close to a team instead of writing actual stories, etc. .
Glad that fan behavior in the press box is being addressed and shamed. It's become a huge problem, especially in college sports. It goes against the ethics of what you're taught in J101. Sports and news, being unbiased and professional, are an expectation.
